The President & Owner, Tonya Carter, graduated from the United States Military Academy and became an Army Officer in the Corps of Engineers. She served for 11 years on Active Duty, in the Reserves, and the National Guard both internationally and within the US. She was hired by General Motors for her leadership experience and Engineering background. However, the leadership team recognized her strength in not only leading but also developing others and promoted her to a role in Human Resource Development. The people side of the business has always been her passion; how to help develop them, how to improve team effectiveness, how to grow managers into stronger leaders. So, this role was the perfect fit. Tonya returned to get her Masters in Training & Development with a focus on Organizational Development from Oakland University, and after 20 years as an HR Leader, has returned to school to pursue a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
